The Master of Education with Special Education Certification (Grades PK-12) Program prepares educators for a master's degree with Pennsylvania certification in special education. This program is for educators who hold another teaching certification and would like to be successful in a variety of inclusive special education classroom settings. To enhance their understanding of working with children with various abilities and disabilities, students are required to complete classroom field experiences, pre-student teaching, and six weeks of student teaching.
The Master of Education in Special Education prepares educators who hold another teaching certification to be successful in a variety of inclusive special education classroom settings. Coursework that focuses on young students with special needs such as learning disabilities, social/emotional disorders, and autism in combined with coursework in technology, literacy and teaching strategies and methods for the instruction of students.
The Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Innovation is designed for educators aspiring to gain a leadership position in educational institutions. The program provides professional educators with a broad-based knowledge of leadership in the field of education, whether for an administrative position or for a classroom teacher serving in a leadership capacity, such as a department chair, committee head, or community leader.
ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's Master of Science in Data Analytics aims to equip students with the essential skills in critical-thinking and technical proficiency for careers in data analytics. Students will be enabled to address intricate challenges and make data-informed decisions.

The Ed.D. in Transformative Education Program empowers educational professionals to lead change, respond to change and undergo change, both personally and professionally. The program is designed for diverse professionals who are committed to reshaping education as a vehicle for equity and systemic improvement. Whether students come from classrooms, college campus offices, community programs, or corporate training teams, they will graduate being equipped and inspired to lead meaningful change in their professional spheres.
ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's Bachelor of Social Work program offers a rigorous, caring and inclusive learning community, preparing you for employment or for graduate studies. BSW graduates who meet the criteria are eligible for Advanced Standing, meaning they can complete an accelerated curriculum to earn a master’s degree in social work from CSWE-accredited MSW programs.
Class Delivery Note: All BSW classes are fully online. Undergraduate residential students in the BSW Program take their general education courses in person. Commuter students should talk to their admissions counselor to identify the best delivery options for their circumstances.
The Certificate Program in Community Engagement is an interdisciplinary program designed to increase students’ ability to create positive change in their community and to address serious community issues through the development and implementation of short- and long-term impactful civic projects. Students identify and apply practical considerations that underpin community engagement and voluntary service.
The gerontology certificate of completion helps students meet the rapidly expanding job market in the field of geriatrics. The program is designed for individuals who have never attended college or who have a degree and want to complete this specialization.
The Applied Health program leading to an Associate of Science degree is a dual enrolled degree program between The Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences and ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ. In addition to the Associate of Science degree graduates will receive a Diploma in Nursing from RH-SHS. The RH-SHS Diploma in Nursing Program is nationally accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
